The KA Sample Collection Kit is designed for collection, transport, storage, and processing of nasopharyngeal and throat samples for downstream DNA/RNA analysis. One kit contains 50 collection tube with 1 ml of proprietary transport medium, and 50 nasopharyngeal swabs or throat swabs. Other kit sizes are available on request.
The transport medium provided with this kit is able to store and preserve specimen taken from the respiratory tract (e.g. NPS, throat, sputum), as well as other cell-free body fluids, for subsequent use in nucleic acid analysis, like PCR, sequencing etc.
KA Sample Collection Tubes can be ordered separately, without sampling device.
